Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God which leads us to Jesus and his message of love and hope.

We believe that there is only one true God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – the Holy Trinity.

We believe that all people are sinful from birth, have separated themselves from God, and cannot save themselves.

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became truly human to reveal the heart of God and to live, die, and rise again to reconcile us with God.

We believe that whoever repents of sin and believes that Jesus is Savior and Lord has forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

We believe that it is the Holy Spirit who empowers people to believe in Christ as Savior and to follow him throughout their lives.

We believe that the Holy Spirit works through the Means of Grace, the Gospel and the Sacraments (Baptism and Communion), to strengthen believers for faith and service.

We believe that in response to God’s gift of salvation, Christians, by the power of the Holy Spirit, strive to live holy lives as the fruit of their faith. Together with fellow Christians in the Church they serve God and do the work of sharing his love with others in word and deed.
